Hahyun is a second-generation Korean-Dutchie who lives in Amsterdam. Playing the piano is one of her hobbies. Eating good food and having a good cup of coffee are also things that make her day.

 

“His plans and timing are perfect and it is a great blessing to be a witness of it while serving in this ministry. God is good and He makes me confess that every year during SET too. I think my favourite thing about SET is that we sharpen each other and encourage each other to end this spiritual race well. Following Jesus is not easy, but SET has helped me seeing the worth of following Jesus.”

 

최하현은 한국계 네덜란드인 2세이고 암스테르담에 살고 있습니다. 피아노 연주는 그녀의 취미 중 하나입니다. 맛있는 음식을 먹고 맛있는 커피를 마시는 것도 그녀의 하루를 행복하게 해주는 일이죠.

 

“하나님의 계획과 시기는 완벽하며 이 사역에서 봉사하는 동안 그것을 증거하는 것은 큰 축복입니다. 하나님은 선하시며 매년 SET에서 그 진실을 고백하게 하십니다. SET에서 제가 가장 좋아하는 점은 이 영적 경주를 잘 끝낼 수 있도록 서로를 갈고 닦아주며 격려한다는 것입니다. 예수님을 따르는 것이 쉽지는 않지만 SET는 제가 예수님을 따르는 가치를 볼 수 있도록 도와주었습니다."

Haren is a second-generation Korean-Swiss. She grew up in Lausanne and studied International Relations in Geneva. She loves spending quality time with friends by the lake and traveling.

 

“SET has a special place in my heart. It sharpened my faith, challenged me to grow closer to God and to live as a disciple of Christ. Through SET I got to see and accept who God calls me to be. Every year I am humbled at God’s goodness and faithfulness. It is a joy and honor to serve and walk in this journey of faith with such amazing leaders, and to be part of HIS amazing work.”  

 

차하렌은 한국계 스위스인 2세입니다. 그녀는 로잔에서 자라고, 제네바에서 국제 관계학을 전공했습니다. 그녀는 친구들과 날씨 좋은 날 호수에서 시간을  보내는것과 여행을 좋아합니다.

 

“SET는 저에게 아주 특별한 사역이에요. 제 믿음을 새워주고, 하나님에게 더욱더 다가가는 것을 도와줬으며, 예수님의 제자로서 살아가는 법을 가르쳐주었습니다. SET를 통해 하나님이 말씀하시는 제 정체성을 찾고 받아드리는 훈련을 했습니다. 매년 하나님의 좋으심과 신실하심에 감동하게 됩니다. 좋은 동역자들과 하나님의 크신 일에 동참하고 함께 걸을 수 있어 감사합니다.”

Ha Un was born and raised in Vienna, Austria, where she is currently studying electrical engineering. She likes cooking, running and recently also swimming! She also likes reading and is very passionate about cakes (eating, more than baking them).

"Since my first participation in the SET conference, it has enriched my life. At SET I am always challenged to grow in faith and take on leadership roles by trusting in God. It has shown me that being a Christian is so much more than attending church every Sunday. Now I really want to know God more and live a life led by Him."

 

안녕하세요 저는 정하은입니다! 저는 오스트리아 비엔나에서  태어나고 자랐으며 현재 전기공학을 공부하고 있습니다. 요리, 조깅, 독서 그리고 최근에는 수영을 좋아하게 되었고 특히 케이크에 대해서 굉장히 열정적입니다 (굽는 것보다 먹을 때에).

세트를 처음 참여한 이후로 저의 삶은 풍요로워졌습니다. 세트는 항상 제가 믿음으로 성장하고 하나님을 신뢰함으로 리더쉽의 역할을 수행하도록 도전시켜줍니다. 저에게 그리스도인으로 사는것이 그저 주일마다 교회에 참석하는 것보다 훨씬 더 많은 것들을 내포한다는것을 보여주었습니다. 이제 저는 하나님을 더 많이 알고 그분이 이끄시는 삶을 살고 싶습니다.

Say was born in South Korea, but grew up mostly in the Netherlands. Currently, she is living on a beautiful island called Bornholm in Denmark finishing her studies in ceramics.

I love SET, because it challenges me every time. My experience with SET has always encouraged me to offer my deepest fears into the light. 저는 덴마크에서 살고 있는 민세이입니다. 현재 보른홀름이라는 아름다운 섬에서 거주하며 도예를 전공하고 있습니다.

 

SET를 통해 경험한 것들은 정말 귀중했습니다. SET는 제가 왜 그리고 어떻게 하나님을 찾아야 하며 그분과 개인적인 관계를 맺어야하는지 가르치고, 보여주었고 결국 이해하고 경험할 수 있도록 인도해 주었습니다. 세트는 매번 저에게 도전을 줍니다. 제가 스스로 저의 가장 깊은 두려움들을 빛으로 끌어내도록 격려해 주었습니다. 하나님 안에서 비교할 수 없는 자유를 경험하면서 저는 변화되었습니다. SET를 섬김으로써 다음 세대도 제가 그리스도 안에서 발견한 것을 발견할 수 있기를 바랍니다.

Philwon was born in Germany and is currently studying music production and audio engineering in the Netherlands.

정필원은 독일에서 태어나 현재 네덜란드에서 음악 제작 및 오디오 엔지니어링을 공부하고 있습니다.

조화평은 독일, 복훔에서 태어났고, 현재는 독일, 프랑크푸르트에서 직장을 다니고 있습니다. 그는 맛 있는 음식을 즐겨 먹고, 음악 하는 것을 좋아 합니다.

Taemin Daniel is a third generation korean living in Germany. He was born in Vancouver, Canada and moved to Düsseldorf, Germany when he was 6 years old. Creating videos and doing sports are his favorite hobbies.

 

"SET is something very special. It challenges me to grow spiritually and as a person. When I was young I attended SET because of my parents, but as I grew older I got to realize, that it became part of my life. Whenever I attend SET it feels like coming home. I am looking forward to what God has planned for us.“

 

독일에 거주하는 한국인 3세인 이태민 입니다. 캐나다 밴쿠버에서 태어나 6살 때 독일 뒤셀도르프로 이주했습니다. 동영상 제작과 운동은 제가 가장 좋아하는 취미입니다.

 

"세트는 매우 특별해요. 제가 영적으로 그리고 한 인간으로서 성장하도록 도전합니다. 어렸을 때는 부모님 때문에 SET에 다녔는데, 나이가 들면서 SET가 제 삶의 일부가 되었다는 걸 깨달았어요. SET에 참석할 때마다 집에 오는 기분입니다. 하나님께서 우리를 위해 계획하신 일을 기대하고 있습니다."

Sun-Ho is a second-generation Korean Belgian, born and raised around Brussels. He is studying Art History at KU Leuven, anything related to art makes him happy :) 

 

“SET is the place that helped me accept myself just the way I am. It led me to detach all the titles and labels that were attached to me such as Worship Leader, Keyboard player, translator, PK, … to go Jesus bare naked, in finding my true identity, being His Child. I’m serving in many ministries within our local church (Korean Mission Church) and SET. My heart goes out to that one lost sheep, one soul, … bringing back that one soul to the Lord through Christ in me, is all I want. His love is the reason why.”

 

선호는 한국계 벨기에인 2세로, 브뤼셀 주변에서 태어났고 자랐습니다. 현재는 미술사 공부를 KU 루벤 대학에서 정공하고 있으며, 예술에 여러 분야에 관심을 갖고 있습니다.

 

“세트는 저에게 있어서, 제 모습 그대로 주님 앞에 나아갈 수 있도록 이끌어준 곳입니다. 저에게 붙어있는 여러 수식어들; 목회자 자녀, 찬양팀 리더, 반주자, 통역관,… 다 내려놓고 주님 앞에 그저 주님의 자녀로서의 정체성을 비로서 찾게 되었습니다. 현재 교회와 세트 공동체에 여러 사역을 섬기고 있는데요, 길 잃은 한 영혼 한 영혼이 저를 통해 하나님을 만날 수 있기만을 바랄 뿐입니다. 그분이 보이신 사랑만이 제가 달리는 이유이며 동기입니다. “
